gNewSense 2.0 "DeltaH" - free Linux updated
May 1 has reached new version entirely free distribution GNU/Linux- gNewSense - 2.0 (code-named "DeltaH").
GNewSense distribution based on Ubuntu Linux, but deprived of all "non-free" software packages. The project is actively supported by the Organization of free software (FSF), but the distribution is the founder of Movement for Free Software Richard Stallman (Richard Stallman). The release of gNewSense 2.0 "DeltaH" based on the recently released Ubuntu Linux 8.04 "Hardy Heron". Among other changes (compared with version 1.1 "DeltaD") notes the new design (artwork), the use of the Epiphany instead of GNOME BurningDog (Firefox) as a Web-browser, jump to deblob-script to the kernel of Linux-distribution BLAG, exclusion nonfree GLX from X / mesa. GNewSense with the utility to build distributions based on the Ubuntu - Builder - is now using chroot when compiling and supported packages Debian src.
